Campsite #3......

...is at a lower elevation than #1 & #2, but still high enough on the wooded slope to catch the later rays of sunrise.

This cozy site is big enough for a 4-person tent along with the picnic table and fire ring that are provided at all sites here at Fox Mountain.

In C#3 I fell asleep to the hooting of owls on the ridge above, and woke in the morning to the tinkling trickle of the small stream over quartz stones.

This site is ideal for solo camping, but it could also work for two or even three people who like each other very much.

LOGISTICS: From the Loading/Unloading Area it is about sixty (60) steps to C#3, up a moderate hill on a soft and clear dirt path. Don't forget, there's a wagon you can use.

From C#3 to the Showerhouse it is about one hundred (100) steps.
