...is up on the Ridge above the Barn Cabin, which is just across the gravel drive from the Shower House. The key word here is UP. The slope is steep. A 4WD vehicle could park at the top. Or, Sherrie could shuttle your gear up the hill with her Orange Dragon lawn tractor. C#8 is large site, mostly level, with lots of potential tent spots. There is only one picnic table and fire ring, but plenty of room for a village to spread out. The surrounding woods feature some magnificently tall trees whose leaves rustle musically in the mountain breeze. LOGISTICS: From the Barn Cabin parking area to C#8 it is about sixty (60) steps UP the steep hill. From C#8 to the Shower House is about one hundred (100) steps.
